Oz intro is over its very sad!
Yesterday most people moved on to another hostell in Central Sydney. I decided however to stay at Surf Side in Coogeee 1) becuase i am lazy 2) i like living on the beach 3) i have been upgraded to the pent house of Surfside. Oh yes the YHA may have a pool but ihave my own bathroom complete with a coackroach who i have named Fred. No in all seriousness i dont regret not moving on becuase it has meant that i have met new firends which is what i want to do.
Yesterday we went on the recommended walk from Spit bridge to Manly. I didnt think anyone would want to join me on the 10km walk but some of the guys from the hostel and Sophie who i met on oz intro all came along. It was definetly worth the hike. we saw loads of vegetations and wildlife and got great views of Sydney and the little coves tha not many people know about. The best bit though was looking at all the houses along the way. I say houses but really they were mansions and i rather enjoed picking out which one my husband will buy me when im older.
When we got to manly we were greeted by the funniest chav fight i have ever seen. they actually grabbed chairs from Mcdonalds and threw them at each other. The day then got even more funny when we walked past a man with a a hole in his wetsuit on his bum! ( i know very immature)
In the evening despite being shattered we went out for a few drinks in the CBH ( sinead i hope you are impressed with the number of nights out i have had)
Today i was totally on my own becuase Sohpie had left for Adeleide. However i am now an officially independent woman I took the giude book which lorrien gave me and tried to find Charlton Pool. I found it in the middle of the Botanical Gardens. I was well impressed that it only cost £1.50 to get in, and i tell you what girlies if totty spotting is your thing this place is heaven. I have never seen so many fit looking people in my life. They were all limbering up and taking their swim very seriously i just snuck into the slow lane and tried not to splash them too much with my really bad technique.
Granny ( i know mum is printing this off for you) i have to tell you that you would love the botanical gardens here they are so beautiful. You could litterally sit and talk to the flowers everyday if you wanted and not get bored.
Anyway tomorrow is my last day in Sydney. I am travelling down to Melbourne on the Oz ex bus which is a tour bus that stops in various wiered and wonderfull places on the way.
Thats all for now thanks for reading!
