I've been traveling for almost 2 weeks now. It looks like I'm ahead of myself with my blogs though so I'll try to get with the program.
I had a relaxing day yesterday. I walked to the Hyper U, which is a local grocery chain like Loblaws, only bigger. It was a zoo in there. I was going to take pictures but everywhere I turned people were around. It is the Easter rush here. Everyone is getting stuff for the holidays. I returned with some stuff for my aunt and we ate lunch. I also napped for over 2 hours. I must have been tired. It was a beautiful morning but it's starting to rain now though. We are making pizza tonight. Yum yum. (Thursday Night)
I updated some pics today so have a peek.
(Friday)
I will be going into Draguignan today with my cousins as they have some appointments. I will just roam around the city center, take some pics and check things out. They had a huge flood there 2 years ago, and so did downtown Les Arcs. Several people died and they are still rebuilding. There are huge sink holes that they have not yet fixed. My little cousin showed me some YouTube videos too. It reminds me of the huge sink hole we had in London a few years back.
Today is Good Friday and we are having fish for dinner tonight. My aunt assures me they the way she cooks it, I will like it. I'm not a huge fan of fish. Of course I will eat it though! It's the respectful thing to do. Now is not the time to be picky. They have been very very good to me here. My aunt is in the middle of washing my clothes. How great is that? I didn't pack too many things so it was time to do laundry. She is certain that my other aunt in Italy will be doing the same thing when I visit her. How sweet!
I'm in Draguignan right now. I was dropped off at the bus station and they are suppose to pick me up after their appointments. I took a stroll through the city and snapped some pictures of interesting stuff like the historic area, some cool buildings and the clock tower. I'm just sitting in a little park at the moment next to the bus station so I'm ready for when they call. Thank goodness I did because it started to pour. I found some shelter so I wouldn't get wet. I'm not sure how much longer I'll have to wait. The temperature has dropped significantly and I'm in shorts and a t-shirt. It was beautiful out earlier so don't be lecturing me about the weather! I hope this isn't the beginning of another flood!!!! :O I can see the headlines now . I'm just trying to make light of the situation. I can't imagine what people think here when it rains like this after what they have experienced. I'm sure there are some people with phobias because of it.
Q11
Exactly when did the flood occur in Les Arcs, France?

Sheldon Great photos once again! Looks as though you are off the beaten track... not thousands of tourists around.
