Hi guys
We've made it to beautiful Hoi An and we've got the day off to enjoy some R&R before a big day of cycling tomorrow. The last 3 days of cycling have been fairly unremarkable; predominantly 60-km's to 90-km's each day along flat terrain along the coastline or the railway line. We had our first decent accident yesterday. One of the stronger (& more confident) riders was recording a video of the group whilst riding and found a pothole that catapulted him through the air and onto his face a few metres further along the track. He lost consciousness for a bit and awoke to find he'd need some dental work when he gets home to the U.K. He's looking forward to taking the day off!
Jane's killing it on the bike and is miles ahead of where she thought she'd be. I reckon she's in the top handful of riders and seems to be loving her time in the saddle. We've got a 100-km ride tomorrow with a steep 10-km climb that will test our endurance. She's determined to beat me but I'll deflate her tyres a few psi in the morning to make sure she doesn't! We'll check in again when we get to Rod's relo's house :)
