Home again for a couple of days and then we´re off again. After Canada we had a day at home. We rented a trailer and started driving towards France the morning after we landed. Overnighted in Luxenbourg and arrived in Beaumont de Lomagne Wednesday evening.

The next four days were spent organizing a lot of practical things in the house. The purpose of squeezing France in in the middle of our trip, was to get all the stuff we want from the house, and bring it home to Denmark.

We also made a descision to sell the house after months of weighing cons and pros against each other. We would love to keep it, but it´s simply going to be too much work and too expencive to keep. Well, the way the market is´, we probably won´t be able to sell it anytime soon anyway.

Monday morning we were all packed and ready for another couple of days on the road. With a completely stuffed trailer. we could only manage an average speed of 70 km/h ....so needles to say, the trip home was loooong. After ten hours drive day 1, we overnighted near Paris , and at 6.45 AM we hit the roads again. Not really feeling up for spending ye another day driving, we descided to push through all Tuesday, and drove for 19 hours straight.

The kids ofcourse thaugt it was boring (as did we....) But they managed without wyning at all - enjoying themselves with games, nintendo, dvd´s, reading, drawing and ipods - thank God for technology :-)

We finally got home at 02 AM, exhausted but glad the drive was over. Today has been another practical dilemma. We´ve emptyid the wine cellar in the house in France......found out we really don´t have anywhere to put all the wine. Therefore we´ve spent most of the day in search of wine racks....turned out to be a bit more challenging than first expected.....don´t people drink wine anymore ? Or is that the problem - as a salesman in one of the stores asked me - What do you need a winerack for - you´re supposed to drink the wine, not store it.....

Well, now we have the rest of the week home. Emptying the trailer and re-packing the backpacks, washing some clothes and getting the last vaccines. On Monday we fly to Finland, spend a few days there, and then it´s off to Asia, Australia and South America.
