Thursday - We went to Kaiteriteri to go sea kayaking. We met a family from San Diego. We started out. I went with the tour guide Jackie. We weaved in and out of small places between rocks. Then we stopped at a small beach for a quick lunch then a game of catch the oars. I came second last. Then we paddled to a split apple rock and went into a little cave. Wednesday - We drove to Motueka, it took 5 hours which included a teastop. We stayed at the Equestrian lodge for the night while dad went fishing and played cards. While we were in the car we made up songs. The one we like the best is "Squashum came over the mountains to see what he could see" and also "I'd like to be a squashum but ooo I'm scared of cards. Honk beep beep how they scare me..." We also saw this lovely sunset with purple mixed in with blue ...

Tuesday - We finished packing and went to the Hamilton airport. We went on a small plane which landed in Wellington. Then a mad dash to get to the next plane. When we got to Christchurch we got a red car and drove to Hanmer Springs. We found a motel and then went into the springs. I went into the waterslide which was all black except for arrows of light. Then back for supper and then back to the springs. 

Monday - We opened Tigger's present. I got a scooter! And some makeup. Jazmine and I rode on the scooter. Then all of us got a set of radios. 

Sunday - we went to the lake to see radio-controlled yachts. Then to mum's x-mas party. We got christmas crackers and a present which was a small cat on a keychain.
