I woke up stupidly early for some reason, after just a few hours of sleep. After getting ready for the day, Clair and I were the first ones down for breakfast. In the afternoon, we hopped back on the bus to drive out to Kaisiadorys for have a rehearsal at the church. The church was pretty plain on the inside, but it had wonderful reverb. The echo was so fantastic that you could sing three or four notes in a row and make a chord with just your own voice. Rehearsal went really well, probably because our voices were already pretty warmed up and we were all super excited about singing in a place with acoustics like that. ...

This was a pretty packed-full trip, so we were up decently early again in the morning so we could have everything packed and ready to go. Another quick breakfast, same good spread as yesterday and I was actually pretty excited for herrings and tomatoes. I did take a couple sausages and pastries in a napkin to save them for lunch. John was really nice to us because after we'd gotten out room keys (I was rooming the Clair) and took our luggage up to our rooms (on the fourth/top floor) we were given the entire afternoon to ourselves.
