This was a pretty packed-full trip, so we were up decently early again in the morning so we could have everything packed and ready to go. Another quick breakfast, same good spread as yesterday and I was actually pretty excited for herrings and tomatoes. I did take a couple sausages and pastries in a napkin to save them for lunch.
And then we had a rehearsal that we'd talked about last night. We'd all decided as a group that with the competition coming up we should spend a bit of time doing extra rehearsals beyond the concerts we were doing. So, early morning rehearsal for us in the conference room. Again, it's hard to be energized enough and warmed up enough for a morning sing.
Fortunately, we were given a bit of 'free time' after the rehearsal so we could grab lunch. We put all of our luggage in the conference room so we could check out of the hotel. I grabbed a couple postcards and a bit of extra cash because we were staying in Lithuania, then Emily, Cosette and I went for a good long walk down to a souvenir shop they'd seen yesterday. We all grabbed a couple things for people back home - Zach had said the night before he wanted shot glasses, so I got one for him.
We had to head right back to the hotel after Emily and Cosette had grabbed their hotdogs. I munched on my pastries. I did stop along the way to grab an iced coffee called 'icy spicy' that was interesting but not as hot as I expected it to be.
Then it was right onto the bus for an hour and a half drive to the capital - Vilnius.
