Today Yvonne took us just over the border into China to a place called Shenzen.

This place is amazing. It's basically 5 floors of designer copies which are so good you can't tell the difference between a real one and a fake one.

Everywhere you go you get "missy missy want DVD" or "missy missy want handbag". As there is a high police presence a lot of the handbag shops (in particular) will only have no name brands at the shop but will give you a catalogue to look at and if you see something you like they will ring or send a boy to run and go get it. If you leave their shop saying an item is too expensive they will run after you (sometimes with a calculator) and say "what you pay?". It is definately an experience to remember.

There are also some very talented artists dotted around the centre. You can watch some of these guys and girls for hours while they do their craft.

At the end of the day we badly needed foot massages and you can have that there too. For 150 yen we both got foot massages, plus Catherine got a manicure, pedicure (complete with nailart), and a back and neck massage! Considering the exchange rate it was dirt cheap (divide by 7).
