Travel the Planet
From finishing work on Friday 11th August to setting off on Monday 14th August was an emotional rollercoaster for both of us - what on earth have we done! We were both glad just to get rolling (in the rain). Donna had an almost full bottle of Sloe Gin which she refused to leave behind and it was swiftly decanted into one of our water bottles and it's steadily going down. Three days on the road and 150 miles done. We dined out the first two nights but we have gone down market on our third day and resorted to cooking. Crossing the Cotswolds with our 12 stone tandem / load was interesting. Overall in KMPH our average speed is in double figures but in MPH we can't quite average 10!! Slowly, slowly we are leaving England though.

Nicholas Beardow Best of luck to both of you. So it won't be a case of around the world in 80 days at that speed. But it will give you time to see the scenery. Stay safe.
