We were very excited to be crossing the S.A. border. It was really starting to feel like we were away for a while and this was not just a short break away. We are all starting to relax. We visited the Blue Lake and the hanging gardens in the middle of town which were pretty cool. We booked into a couple of markets. We knew we weren't going to do very well at the first market when we looked around and there were no other stall holders under age 70. We made $40 for the day and had to pay $25 for the stall. We didn't think we could do any worse until the following market the next day. We made $10, however the stall was $10. The consolation was the other stallholders, were fantastic. We had lots of chats, the café lady used to live in Coldstream, just up the road from Montrose. Riley was given free Train posters and a guided tour of a model railway workshop. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
