Having extended our Tofo stay, we were let down again because the sea was choppy and they weren't doing another ocean safari. Jack and I just ate food and slept in the sun for the day. To make matters more frustrating, others had gone out and seen a whale shark today with another tour group!

Some guys the other day got to witness a 'bait ball' with loads of fish being hunted by Bull shark (most deadly), tuna, gannets and other creatures getting involved in the feeding frenzy. Other groups have gone out in the last couple of days and seen dolphins, Mantas (which Tofo is the world's best spot for), Leopard sharks, white tip reef sharks, potato bass and more. Kind of wish we had done a dive but money was the issue.

Went to the Whale shark lecture in the evening which was interesting and they know even less about these than Mantas! We then said our goodbyes to the Aus and our friends and hit the hay.
