Jack and I decided funds were decreasing rapidly so we tried to barter at the market and bought four eggs, two tomatoes, two rolls and a baguette for £1.40! Expensive for Mozam but better than splashing on food at restaurants.
We booked an ocean safari and decided to gamble on seeing a Whale shark, costing £40.
Well, gamble didn't pay off. We spent all that money along with many others and saw nothing other than a couple of fish when the skipper told us to dive in for a snorkel. Plus I hurt my ear as I dived really deep to search for sharks and stuff but forgot to equalise the pressure constantly in my ears! The world expert on Whale sharks, a Kiwi called Simon Pierce was with us as well so he had a waste of two hours! The weather wasn't even good really! We were upset.
It was cool crashing onto the beach on the boat, just as it was to get the boat out waiting for waves and then pushing the boat out. But we did strike a deal, some girls told us that they were offered a free trip tomorrow if they didn't see any but they couldn't go. So I asked and we decided to stay another day and risk it for a biscuit.
Their was a Full Moon party at Dino's so we got drunk getting through the Redd's cider and brandy and coke. Had a laugh with our English and Scottish friends, the Aussies and the STA guy. He was giving us plenty of useful advice and his experiences from travelling. The place got real busy but really empty quick despite people dancing, and I didn't even get my wriggle on. Some big Momma started chatting me up but I bolted!
