Last day in Bangkok - Waking up hot and sweaty in November is just wierd! We headed straight for a breckie next door and managed to book the next leg of our adventure at the same time...the coach would be leaving at 17:30 that evening...the island of Koh Phi Phi our destination!!! We were rudely awaken this morning by a Thai lady asking if we wanted another night or would be checking out...we should have been up already and realised that as we were indeed checking out, we only had 40 mins in which to do so. Needless to say 12 o'clock came and went and the phone in our room continued to ring...it was the eager receptionist trying to hurry us along...after answering the 1st one we just let it ring! Who would have thought it could take so lo...

Adventure begins...in style! We arrive in Bangkok without a hitch, then the fun begins! After bustling our way through the hoards of eager but not offensively pushy taxi touts, we finally manage to find a legit metered rank and are off....although when we ask for the meter to be turned on, laughter is the only response! 2 hours later our "40 min" journey comes to an end, we made it to Lebua. Lavish doesn't even come close, our 1 night of endulgence ...
