HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! I've had about 3 hours sleep and I'm sitting in a non air-conditioned internet cafe in the hottest ever new years day on record out here. It's 42 degrees!!! I've never ever been any where that is this hot and I would actually love to jump in the snow back at home at the moment. It's so hot I don't even want to go to the beach otherwise I'll probably cook under the sun! The fireworks were amazing on the bridge and I had the best view from the 37th floor of a private apartment where I was working. I really wish I hadn't worked now though because by the time I went out at about 3am people were passed out on the pavement and getting carried home! The aussie's do like to drink quite a lot and I thought the English were bad. I had a good night anyway and made loads of money so I should be able to do my skydive now in either New Zealand or up in Cairns, I haven't decided where yet? I thought it would be easier to to a skidive and then a bungee jump rather than the other way round. Hope you all had a brilliant night and I'll speak to you all soon. Tom
