Hey all hows everyone doing? Really, really enjoying Brazil and the people are really cool here. I couldn't have asked for a better family their so welcoming and have so many friends that I now know aswell. I went to this quality waterfall yesterday and you can slide down the bottom half of it because the rocks are so smooth so had a wicked day doing that! Got a few cuts and bruizes at the end but it was well worth it! Have some amazing pics of it all but think the computer is too slow to download them so you won't be seeing any phot's of me for a while but don't worry I'm taking loads! My portuguese is getting better and better now and I'm learning new words everyday although it get's really tiring after a while having to look up words in my little dictionary the whole time but luckly the dude I'm staying with is learning English really quicky aswell. Going out to the tiny little dance club tonight which should be cool because me and Tanya the other girl on the project have hade a few lessons of how to dance to Brazilian music which is really cool and also pretty hard when you have two left feet but it's really fun doing it. The work I'm doing is really cool aswell and am really enjoying it. What we've been doing so far is just planting seeds into little plastic bags filled with soil and when they start to grow I think we go out and plant them all along the river to prevent flooding and stuff like that. There's lots of other stuff we get to do but not sure what it involves yet so looking forward to finding out.
