Hey everyone. Sorry haven't updated my site in ages, it's really hard because there are not many internet places in south america that work very well or are really slow! I've moved in with my familly in Brazil now and their brilliant. The son 'Marcos' taught himself a bit of english by reading the lirics off english songs which I thought was really clever and he is really good considering he didn't take lessons or anything! I flew from Santiago to Sao Paulo and stayed in the nicest hotel! There was a free gym, swimming pool, sauna and got clean towles every day!I had 3 days of portuguese lessons there which were really usefull but I've learnt so much more actually living with the familly and teaching each other the different languages which is actully really fun. I then flew to rio and got a conecting flight to Salvador and then a 6 hour bus ride to Palmeiras where I live. It's in the middle of a beautiful national park! I've never experienced anything like I have living here and I've only been here for 2 days. The way of life is completely different and you have to actually live with the people to realize how it actually is compared to just reading it in text books at school. I haven't done much work yet so can't really explain what I'm doing but I'll let you all know as soon as I can. I have to go now because don't have any time but I'll speak to you as soon as I can.
