Finally, after 6 weeks on the road, we reached our final destination, Singapore. Unfortunately i was only staying here for one night, so didn't get to see maybe as much as i'd like, but still had a good laugh! The hostel we stayed at was really cool and modern, with funky rooms and free internet! Always a bonus. In the evening we had to do the righful thing, and head down to the famous Raffles hotel for a Singapore Sling cocktail, however ridiculously expensive it is! After this, myslef and Bron headed out of town to the night safari, another famous feature of Singapore. This was really cool to see these animals...but in the dark! Especially the huge bats flying around your head! Lovely. We spent the rest of the night partying into the wee hours, celebrating a fantastic 42 nights on tour, culminating here and now! The next day was spent mostly recovering and packing up! And then, unfortunately, saying goodbye to some fantastic friends that i've made. Me and Bron shed a few tears, as we both know that when you live on opposite sides of the globe, it makes short visits a little tricky. I made a promise to come and see her part of Australia one day though. Next stop Sydney! T x
