And so we arrived in Kuala Lumpur, the sprawling modern metropolis that is the capital of Malaysia. This city is ceratinly a cut above all the others we've been to in terms of its westernization, and advanced culture! It felt so good when we got there, ad indulged in a pizza hit lunch, and found our first pint of Strongbow! Although it did cost over 4 quid! It tatsed bloody marvellous though. It is also a shoppers paradise, and i finally had to give in and treat myself to some new clothing! KL also has an impressive array of skyscrapers, including the famous Petronas twin towers, the largest buildings in the world. We went up to the skybridge level of these, and also to the top of the Menara communications tower, which actually offered the best city views from on high! One of these skyscrapers was named Times Square, and was possibly the largest shopping centre i have ever seen. Over 20 storeys of shops, and even including an indoor theme park, complete with loop the loop rollercoaster! We have discovered a phenomenon in Malaysia, that they seem to like doing promotion nights at clubs, just for ladies, where they get free drinks! How unfair on us boys! So, as you do, 5 of us decided we would be ladies for the night too, clothes, hair, make up and all! It worked, thats all i will say! T x P.S I couldn't get the bloody eye liner off though!
