Day 38 We arrived in Santiago after a little bus journey from La Serena. Being used to bus journeys little has now come to mean a mere 7 hours. Day 36 La Serena we got off a 16 hour bus from SPDA and ended up in La Serena, we walked up a little road and got to our hotel where we saw our hotel room. Day 33 continued And so... We arrived in San Pedro de Atatcama a funny little town right on the border in Chile and on the edge of the Atacama desert. We booked into our hotel where Tom and I received what can only be described as a shed on legs, but a very nice cosy shed.
