wow...sydney is just amazing! second day here we ventured up to and explored circular quay to see the opera house and sydney bridge. really taken back by the sight and the blue sky backdrop made it just perfect. think it hit us then that we are actually here and a long way from home. discovered how easy it is to pass a day simply just wondering around and taking it all in. went out last night to the local bar and entered into a pool comp...hayley won the ladies comp and beat about 40 guys (including me!) to win us a few jugs of beer and a bottle of champagne. had another great day today...set off this morning to darling harbour on the street tram towards the aquarium. met with sharks, crocodiles and big turtles not forgetting nemo and friends! (check out photos). from there wondered back through the city shops and malls to the harbour where we jumped on a speed/jet boat adventure! it took us around the harbour and under the bridge at 90km/ph pulling 360 spins, jumps and sharp turns - wicked! back at hostel now just chillin and getting some washing done! got an early morning start as we've booked for the sydney bridge climb tomorrow. will keep you posted xxxxxxxxx
