What a great final week in Ko Samui we have had, full moon parties, beautiful scenery, lots of activity and of course more relaxing on the beach or by the pool. Well after 3 days of lazing around on the beach we finally decided to get out and do something! Ko Samui is a small island just a bit bigger than Guernsey! It is surrounded by beautiful beaches and blue ocean! It is off the east coast of Thailand about an hours flight from Bangkok! We have arrived in Phuket, where we will be staying for the next couple of weeks. Phuket is lovely and not as busy as Bangkok. The air is cleaner and smells of sea water rather than petrol. Our hotel is nice and we have already tested out the pool, its nice and cool which is a welcome as it is very hot here. Today has been a very busy day with an early start of 6.20am to get the bus before an hours drive to the river where we would experience the floating markets which was fantastic. The boats were a bit wobbly and Tom found it very amusing when I kept leaning onto his side as I thought the boat was going to tip over.
