The Volcano and the Interview

Okay, so the past few days have been rather random. I (Tom) decided to try and get some work as a film extra. Ended up getting an interview with the biggest model (!) and talent agency in NZ. They're putting me on the books full time and I'm having a photo shoot on the 13th Dec (HAHAHAHA). The agency want to try and get me film work and also billboard stuff... ahem...

Okay, now you've all stopped laughing. We climbed to the top of Rangitoto, which is an amazing experience. To stand at the summit of a dormant volcano takes your breath away.

We also went to auckland Museum and watch a Maori performance including the Haka. Had to restrain Abi from running on stage and kidnapping one of the men. I've increased my workouts now...

The Maori music though is sublime and deeply spiritual. Extremely transcendent when they were singing and dancing. Hard to put into words. We know so little.

We're off to the Bay of Islands next week to get some work. This will suffice until I get commissioned in some national advertising. Knowing my luck it will be Mr Muscle or something as they've been looking everywhere for a scrawny guy to do the adverts...
