Arrived in Hong Kong mid afternoon and checked into our hostel. Hong Kong is very westernised, just like a massive city in England! More people speak English here as well which is always helpful!
We watched the light show on the first night before eating at a street cafe and going to one of the many night markets. We had to say goodbye to Peter, our guide, here as it is the end of the tour .
Some of us were staying another few nights, so we went to a dodgy little Karaoke bar - no, we didn't have a go, the people singing were all very good! After a few beers we found a small bar were we just paid an entrance fee and then you could drink as much as you like for the night! Needless to say we stayed for the night. Some of the locals taught us how to play the dice game we keep seeing everyone playing.
Had a quiet start to the last day as we were all slightly delicate after the previous night! After lunch we caught the tram up to the top of the hill for amazing views over Hong Kong. It was slightly misty, but still able to see. We then took the ferry back to the other island.
In the evening a few of us went for dinner and around some more of the night markets. I had an early night as I had to be up at 4.30am to catch the plane to Hanoi.
