Ok, so for my last day in Sweden I was determined to see one more sight that I had on my 'must do' list - the Skansen Museum and the Skansen Aquarium on Djurgarden, an island on the eastern edge of the city. It's the world's oldest open-air museum and was great to see. From a recreated Swedish village to Lemurs, Brown Bears, Anacondas and Wild Boars... it really was a unique experience. Not to mention the view back over the city. After that and collecting...

What should one do when in Yorkshire? well, visit York of course. Ask yourself who you'd expect to see in a city the size of London when standing on The Strand in front of Charing Cross Tube station? No-one should have been the answer. So today I was a bit of a crazy tourist (again) - sans an I Love London T-shirt... Started out at the Tover of London. [So far I have found that either the public museums and gallerys are free, but at attractions you do have to pay for there is often a free guided tour as part of it - the Tower was no exception. Strongly suggest you tag along on a tour by the Yeoman Warders (Beefeaters - don't ask me why they are called that, 'cos they don't even know... ...

In short today I was a little lazy... I think prolly tired from all the goings-on on Tuesday. I finally left the house in the mid-arvo. Wandered 'round Piccadilly Circus did a little shopping. But, I here you saying... "What a waste of a day...", well no! 'Cos, in the evening I went to the taping of Top of the Pops! Woo Hoo.
