Deb: Monday 29th April. Got up at 4am to take Colin to the airport. So, were in the capital, Mytiline, before 7am! For once, Alan & I were up before the numerous mini markets, bakers and souvenir shops opened! Did get a lovely breakfast overlooking the harbour. Deb: Did a whole day on a guided bird tour yesterday (that's being guided around parts of the island to see some birds, not a tour with us guiding the birds!) There were 7 of us – another English couple (about "our" age) and two Dutch guys, who’s English was incredible! Cracking jokes in English – almost up to Alan’s standard! Alan: On Saturday, 20th we left Athens to fly to Lesvos, only downside was we had to leave the hotel at 2.15 a.m. to get the airport bus!
