Hi You Guys! Just a quick message as I am just about to scoot off to the beach! Jealous! Am now in Krabi after starting off the journey in Bangkok - much as I expected this was hot and the smell was worse than when Chris has used the bathroom - seriously. Met some great people who are on the tour with me and spent the first night getting drunk with them on cheapy Chang beer. Had to do sneaky drinking in an upstairs bar as due to election no alcohol was being served before 12 midnight! It was really hot the next day and we went to the Grand Palace and all 5 of us took a hair raising journey on a tuk tuk along the streets of Bangkok - no road rules here! Did a bit of shopping and had a great dinner in a local restuarant with all the rest of the tour people - about 25 of us in total and all really nice. Left early the next day to see Bridge over River Kwai - pretty harrowing but not as bad as the elephant show we saw next. Not to be recommended but as always - an experience. Travelled to catch the night train which then took us down to Krabi - really cool, we all bought some beer and it was a party train. Have now arrived Krabi and staying in these little huts which are cool (except for the dead cockroach on the floor - I can handle it!) Going to attach some photos in the next couple of days when I have a bit more time. Missing you all but really having a great time! xxx Sorry this is a bit of a rushed entry!
