My last day in aus and what better way to end it than doing more hikes hehe.

First stop was at reeds lookout. Supposedly amazing views but all we saw was fog!! Was kinda funny!! Then to Mackenzie falls. Was a long way down some stairs to get there but was pretty cool. Was cold going down but the way up soon warmed us up!!

Then it was onto hollow mountain. Not a long hike but a scary high hike. The first bit wasn't so bad until we got to a section where we were literally climbing up steep rocks. I was so scared. One wrong step and there was nothing to stop me falling!! Vicky was very encouraging though and everyone motivated each other!! I was obviously the most scared one lol and my short little legs don't help in these matters!! You'll be glad to know I did make it through the hardest bit though. Wasn't sure how I was getting back down!! I couldn't believe I did it. All the people in the group were great helping each other out. The views were stunning and I'm so glad I pushed myself to get up there :)

I made it down in one piece too even though my legs turned to jelly!! I'm sure that was gonna hurt tomorrow!!

After lunch was the big drive to adelaide. On the way we stopped at bordertown to see rare White western grey kangaroos and a pink salt lake. And yep it was very pink!!! Apparently algae.

Got into Adelaide about 6.30 and my hostel didn't have my reservation down. Got put in a 6 bed dorm which was horrid. Was the last bed in the place. It was only one nite and I was too tired to argue!! If you ever stay in Adelaide go to the yha and not nomads Adelaide travellers inn!! It's far from everything and not very nice!!

Met some of the others from the group back at the yha and we went out for dinner :) was a nice end to the short trip.

1month in aus is over :( it's been great and would def come back and go back to a few places. Bring on new Zealand!!
