In the morning we made our way to the chair lift which took u up part of mount Kosciusko. The one that took u up further was closed :(. We only had 3 hrs to do it which was gonna be a challenge. The chair lift took 20 mins to get up then another 10 min uphill rugged trek before the proper walking trail started. It was freezing up there and sooooo windy. Just that trek was hard work. Especially the steps with my short legs. I made it up some of the way.....enoug...

Things didn't go quite to plan for us today as my friend got sick :( went looking for a docs in the morn and as usual the hostel gave us the wrong opening times!! We managed to see the doc later that morn and got some med I had my bridge climb later that afternoon which I was a bit nervous about but I did it :))) it was great. Had brilliant views and was no where near as scary as I though it would be. Climbed 1040 steps all together but it didn't feel that many ...

So many plans today but the rain had not eased up :( it was worse then yesterday. We had to do it though. Too much to see Karien (one of the girls from the tour) and I put our rain macs on n head out. It was chucking it down so bad we seaked shelter for breakie :) we were in Market city I think it was called. So what can I say about this day apart from it was a 12 hr drive to Sydney. Not an ideal way to spend the last day of the tour :( Had quite a few stops on route for the toilet n lunch etc. Was raining soooooo bad all the way and in Sydney. Just wouldn't stop. Was hoping my wkend in Sydney would not be like this :( Most of the tour group was staying at the wake up hostel which was cool. Not a bad hostel to stay at :) was sad saying bye to the rest though. 25 day...

Had a free day today in Byron bay to do what we wanted :) had a slightly later start to the day and had a walk around town. Headed back to the lodge to have breakie. We made French toast n scrambled eggs. Was really nice. Kinda more like brunch Headed down to the beach after to watch some of the others have their surfing lesson.
