Plumped for a private taxi for the two hour trip to Sucre after our bodies both wholeheartedly rejected the 1 peso empanadas we got from the smiley lady in the market and we feared repercussions of travel trapped on a local bus with no toilet. Spent most of our time in Sucre either hiding in a western owned cafe trying out various means to fix ourselves or sunning ourselves in deckchairs overlooking the city.
