2 weeks to go. Started planning our route in more detail today and the sites we want to see. We start taking our malaria tablets today. Not looking forward to the side effects. Hallucinations and diarrhea. Both of us were getting nervous today just talking about the trip. Stevie with butterflies and me with sweaty crack....

Finally booked our travel insurance via 24-7. They offer a good package for a reasonable price. Cover also includes valuables which is very handy. Picked up our Malaria tablets yesterday , 7 packs. Its going to look good at the airport along with our paracetamol, imodium, water purifiers and stevie's year worth of the pill. They will think we are drug mules. I think we are pretty much set. Just need to save save save!....

So its exactly a month before we go on our travels. Can't wait to leave work and get on the road or in the air. We are still trying to get our stuff sorted. So far: Hostel is booked for the first 4 nights. Tickets are booked. 12 Month working visa - Granted. Vaccinations - Sorted (except Rabies - to expensive) Malaria tablets (mefloquine) - 50 for £100 Toiletries/Misc Shopping done. Still need to find some sort of travel insurance....
