Our final day in Tanzania was made up of 13 hours driving. We were up at 0415 hours to depart before Dar Es Saleem traffic kicked in. Whilst Tessa focused on pure relaxation Vikki went to swim with sea turtles. A delightful experience. It was at a natural aquarium where a cave like area has created a pool which changes depths with the tide. It is safe for the turtles as there is no access to the sea for them. The turtles have either been rescued from the beach or from nets by local people. When they are 30 years old and at mate-able age they are released back into the sea to fend for themselves...
