Monday 5 May
For the first part of our day we take a stroll along Yonge Street, the main shopping area of Toronto which leads into Downtown. Then back to our hotel to check out and to collect our rental car for us to head to Niagara Falls, Canadian side. Rush hour traffic makes the journey a little longer than anticipated but eventually we arrive in Niagara. After checking in we head off for a quick look at the falls and heading down Clifton Hill we are very surprised to find that we have to pass flashing lights, amusement arcades, Burger King and Macdonalds type places - everything we definitely weren't expecting to see. Completely different to the American side!

Tuesday 6 May
Thankfully the weather is perfect for a good look at the Falls, including an extremely close look at them from The Maid of the Mist - the famous boats that take you right into the Horsheshoe Falls whilst tourists wear very fetching blue plastic ponchos. A great way to witness the immense size and power of all that water. In the afternoon we take a ride to Niagara-on-the-Lake and in the evening our last look at the Falls which are illuminated by different coloured lights, shone into them from across the road. A beautfil last look at the Falls.

Wednesday 7 May
Back to Toronto for our flight to Heathrow. We leave Canada and the North American continent where we have had the most amazing experiences, seen fantastic things and met some great people - we are definitely sorry to be leaving! Next stop England.
