First I am going to show you the the BBQ setup. It was so wonderful we really enjoyed our two meals.

 We got up a 4 am to catch a van to go 6 blocks! If we had known we could have picked then up

ourselves. We had to go to the railway station pickup tickets for ferry. Then got on a two decker

bus and travel about 16 miles to the pier.

we decided on the catamaran. They said it was fastest and most comfortable.

it was nice. 

They said it carried 250 people , I think maybe they had a few more than that.

there are three decks on the boat and they were all full , standing room only.


the first sight of the island is blue water ,large shaped rocks. Very pretty 

found a very nice hotel , it is a ways from the main hubbub. So nice and quite. Will explore the

  island tomorroW. 

Roy said he needed a hair cut so went looking for a barber.

it took awhile but we figured out if the only word of English she can say is "short?" You should say

   "no!"

We head to Phangan island tomorrow .  

There is to be a full moon on the 31st. There is a big celebration on the islands and a huge hoard 

of young come for all night partying. We are so out of here!! To old for this!

so onward to our next island, they party there to but it's much bigger.
