This was a special trip. We left with a tour group at 9am What a boat ride. This was just on breath taking view after another. So very beautiful!Be my guest, sit back and relax, enjoy! We heard about a tour guide named Alex.- [email protected] we highly recommendfor the San Cristobal area.Anyway, we went on our first Mayan Pyramid tour. Alex was a great guide, informative. High energy, We must have spent 3 hours or more looking over the whole place. We just did not have enough of our wonderful hostess.She invited us to a place they have been going for years,It was beautiful.We spent 3 days and nights there. Walking on the beach, seeing pictures of a turtle laying eggs,(she was gone by the time we got there)!!!Eating good food, having a great time, and relaxing.

We had heard about these frozen waterfalls and how lovely they are, so decided to go. They are calcium deposits, just like in caves. They drip and grow and make these waterfalls.OH Boy!!! About 10 miles of dirt , rough , switchback road!! One way.Beautiful scenery. Just so lovely.Driving was about 5 miles an hour, so had plenty of time to enjoy the view.Not sure we would ever go back.
