As we drive into south Australia, Adelaide we are greated with miles and miles of vineyards! I think we are gonna like this place! So to start us off we take a wine tasting tour of Barrossa valley, this is the home of Jacobs Creek! We start off with a couple of tasters of Mascato which is very nice! 100 tasters later we are all absolutely bladdered and rolling around the valley looking for more wine, we end up in a wine cellar thinking we are pro's at wine testing haha could do this easily for a living! Waking up the next morning with a slight headache,, what better way to get over the hangover than a couple of boxes of goon (this is the ozzy name for a box of very cheap wine). So going from tasting Oz's finest to drinking cat piss but we polish two boxes off with Julia and Flo an Italian/French couple! Happy days!
Now we have tasted the fine wines we decide to head to Adelaide centre for the day, with the rain pouring at 100 miles an hour and everywhere closed as it is a Monday (apparently everywhere in Adelaide is shut on Mondays!!) we leave Adelaide feeling a little disappointed. With the weather getting colder and more miserable by the hour we have to make a decision about our next stop (Perth or Cairnes) we decide our best option is to head North to follow the sun!
