Hiya :) Left the gorgeous Cameron Higlands for a warmer place. Went to Penang for a day or so but it wasn't really my scene so I left earlier than intended and came to the Island of Langkawi for some sun, sea and sand. I think I've been moving around Asia at such a fast pace it's going to do me some good to stay here for a few days and rest a little before I head to Oz. Langkawi is lovely - white sands, clear waters. Incerdibly I bumped into the guide from the tour I did in Thailand on my first night here. He was with another tour group and I'm now staying in a hostel with one of them and we're having a great time. We've booked motorbikes for tomorrow and today we're going jet-sking. Basically lots of beach action. We've spent every night so far in a "Reggae" bar on the beach. The DJ tends to play about 3 Bob Marley numbers and then it can be anything from Bob Dylan to Billy Ocean nut there's hammocks, sunsets and cocktails and we've met some great people there so the music is a sort of scondary factor. Covered in bites as the bed I slept on in the first two nights had an ants nest in the matress but other than that I feel great (if a little over-weight but I'll worry about that when I get home) Can't really think of anything particularly interesting to say to be honest since I just been getting some R&R but I'm sure that will change in the next day or two. Missing everybody lots but in no rush to come back to blighty!
