HAPPY SUISSE NATIONAL DAY!!
BONNE FETE SUISSE!!!
Today is the National Swiss Day...which means...not a lot. It's a day for the Suisse to get off work and walk around the lake. I'm midway through and so far it just seems like any other weekend. BUT fireworks tonight and food all day, soooooo that sounds like a sweet deal to me!
I'm only JUST starting to remove the cheese caked to the sides of my stomach from last blog's description of Gruyere. Delicious but deadly should come on all the packages of cheese products here in Suisse.
So what's been happening...we went and saw Wall-E en Francais at a really cool open air cinema. It's right on the shore of the lake so you get to see the sun set while you're watching the movie. It was really cool, Wall-E was really good too! So far all the movies I've seen here, I've also seen in English in Canada, so I know the plot line pretty well! SEE IT IF YOU HAVEN'T!! It won't change your life, but it'll make you laugh! WHICH COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!
Anyways, I'll make this a quick one. Today is my last day with mes amies here in Switzerland. Sad buuuuuuut am also really looking forward to the travels ahead! The friends I've made here are awesome, but ADVENTURE CALLS!!
Megan, you'll find this funny. I've made alot of friends here who don't speak English as their mother tongue, mostly they're from Colombia. So we were telling jokes that were funny in our own languages and I made the mistake of teaching them the "that's what she said" line. f***...I never heard the end of it. At first they got it, and used it appropriately. But after a while it just became "I'm going home" THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!! "No, guys, you gotta wait till it sounds VAGUELY sexual for you to use that line." THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID "No, for reals, like you're going to lose friends that way." THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID..."NO!! Fine...it's my fault I guess..."
And in other news...ROJO FEVER HAS LANDED IN EUROPE!! I told my Colombian friends about a certain red headed siren living in Canada and they couldn't get enough! They told all their Colombian friends back home so...Colombia might have a new number one hit by the end of next week if things go as planned!! They seemed so intrigued and so violated that someone would use their language to promote "bling bling and expensive things". But such is the way of Reggaeton...
Anyways folks, I'mma go party! Happy Swiss Day and next time we speak Kels and I will be on the road (or in the air) to Berrrrrrrrrrlin!! AUF WEIDERSEHEN!!
