Ko Lanta must be the most chilled place on earth, everybody was so relaxed they were practically horizontal. We spent a glorious 3 days eating, sleeping, drinking and sunbathing. Our bungalow was by the beach in a little resort with restaurant, bar and swimming pool. The bar had wooden cabanas on stilts over the sand where we lay on cushions drinking in candlelight to the wee small hours soothed by the sounds of Hed Kandi. Funnily enough this remote island is where we found the best tunes, we even managed to play our own CD's one night. No madness on this island as we barely had the energy to apply suntan lotion. Lyndsay did however exert herself on the last day and try her hand at a bit scuba diving in the swimming pool, nothing to do with the fox of an instructor Ryan, she claims...... Reluctantly 3 days later we caught a boat to Koh Phi Phi (the island where The Beach was filmed).
