Hello!!
After visiting Fraser Island we drove up the Queensland Coast to Agnes Water and 1770, so called because it was the first place Captain Cook landed when he found aussie land. It wasnt a long drive at all by Australian standards and we even enjoyed a day on the beach. Agnes water is lovely and really small with a great beach! 1770 is 5 minutes down the road and is a wonderful little hamlet, just a few houses which are mostly holiday lets and a groovy bar/ pizzera...very nice. The views look pretty much like the one above (sorry no photos yet!) You can see a lot of the barrier reef islands from here...lovely and peaceful.
We ended up staying in a guy called Pauls shed in Agnes town. reall cool guy and the shed was all done up with a kitchen beds and a shower, which was funny. There were two Doctors from the Uk also sharing it with us. When we woke up the next morning we found a mouse darting about in the fridge lol!!!! He had three really cute dogd which we wanted to take with us! So that was a cool experience just goes to show what happens when you dont book in advance!
