Well its nearly been a year since we returned home :( where does the time go ! We ask you ?! Our last entry was when we were in Slovakia and unfortunately you have missed out on our tremendous adventure in Krakow, Poland. Well where do we start ..... here are some of our favourite memories :- *Meeting random aussie travellers (they're everywhere haha) Casie and Amanda on the train to Poland. Us sitting in luxury them being chased around the train by an angry guard as they "weren't supposed to be in first class" haha. *Nathans Hostel (best hostel in the world!!!) - too many good points to mention but just think - free shots on arrival, cinema, bbq, dance room, smoke room, drinking games...toilet card is definately a numner 5 by the way- chef! THE PUB QUIZ (ask and you shall be told LOL), sausage man - oh they were the best sausages ever, Weiner Boy you have a lot to live up to but we're behind you all the way - "stuart, stuart stuart come on lets Stuarrrrt!" Happy Birthday to you... and me (eleanor), free birthday shots all around first night and last night (even though it wasn't officially birthdays lol), free breakfasts, comfy beds, hot classy shower rooms! And amazing people! *Auschwitz and concentration camps - deathly silence, shivers down the spine but had to be done. Much respect! *Schindlers Factory and THE OFFICE - guest book signatures anyone? Ronald you know who you are !! ... Had to be there but here are our favourite memories.... over excited guide, Slide show with subtitles and unneccessary narrative vocals... but highly amusing i.e. "LIAM NEESON!.....SCHINDLER!" Aww tremendous!! The Office... Picture the scene - 4 hysterical backpackers (tears, snorts, bent over double with bellyache haha!) If anyone gets the chance to go it is highly recommended (haha) check out the guest book - there is a mention from us :) salt mines- party of 5 feeling drunk hungover- only way forward is another pivo! bananas on bus and raring to go PinEle style! end of salt mine tour, party members keen to go to souveneir shop and museau, however popeye and olive e.g. us decide pivo and chocolate is definately the way forward. caught in shower storm after navigation error on way home but sausage man revived us by saving us sausages and on to the pub we go!! football match on big screen in some irish bar, pivo, pivo, pivo!!!! livened up the evening by organising happy birthday rendition to eleanor...but sssssh don't tell anyone but it wasn't actually her birthday! heehee!she was the only one to get a free birthday shot so it kinda backfired on everyone! oh well, you can't win them all! local disco had to get a visit, danced til dawn...well rijksa-ed home!!! poor guy was so patient especially while the paparazzi snapped away outside our 'home'. introduced to sheeska-bob...he is the man! final journey homewards- had originally planned to end up in prague but krakow was so fantastic, extended our stay and flew home from there. early morning flight saw us having to say goodbye to our fellow backpackers...at 6am on return home from nightclub! haha! *airport dilema- left half our baggage on xray machine and chased round airport as deadly weapon (i.e. pen knife...that cost £15 by the way) was found and confiscated by security guard. Oooops! apologies mr security guard! enjoyed pivo on flight home...oh well, might as well end holiday in style. *touched down in prestwick to an overwhelming smell of body odour....ooooops! surely that couldn't be us? More apologies to those in our vicinity! We would like to sum up by saying, in the famous by johnny castle and baby houseman... "WE HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES!"
