today started with an early wake up call in prepartion for the 'great walking tour'. this tour took us on an 3 1/2 hr trek which gave us a great insight of the history of Hungary and in particular Budapest. the views from the buda side of this wonderful city were spectacular. unfortunately there was no time for a 'pivo stop' but we did try a local chocolate bar filled with cottage cheese!? this afternoon we said a farewell to our ozzie fellow backpacker chum...

have extended our stay in budapest by a day. Fun place and lots to see and do. Signed up for the local wine tasting and pub crawl tour (are you surprised?) which was really good as we got to see the typical local hotspots.
