Eventually arrived in split after an action packed train journey from zagreb.... We experienced a tilting speeding train which left us with motion sickness but we still managed to moan that we'd failed to stock up on food. The 5 and a half hour train journey was a long hungersome for us until a fellow backpacker took pity on us and offered us her cheesy biscuits. In true backpacking style (we're pros now you know) we dug deep and managed to find a bottle of asdas finest cava to repay her kindness. Washing was still a little damp despite turning the whole carriage into a chinese laundry. Karl made an appearance and made friends with the ticket collector. Had to battle our way off train past the hoards of local hosteliers offering us accommodation. Oh to be popular..! Garlic?.... bread?...... garlic bread?? love PinEle xxxxxx
