Today we hit the road from Alice. We stopped and only did one of the gorges - Ormiston gorge. We chose this one as Kylie's maiden name is Ormiston.
Beautiful place got lots of great photos, kids had fun climbing rocks and running around on the sand, they even spotted a dingo.
We fuelled up at Glen Helen and they told us about a turn off a km up the road for some good shade for lunch. It was a nice pergola lookout overlooking the Finke river.
Then it was off on the dirt again for the day up through Papunya. Fell just short of the border and pulled up just past Kintore at a radio tower couple 100 meters off the road. Could see the lights of the Kintore community from where we camped up.
Our first night of having a fire camping, kids were stoked to have some marshmallows.
