We're all packed up, apparently the flight is going ahead (god help us). This photo is of next door to our hotel. The winds last night and this morning have been phenomenal. I'm not looking forward to the flight, but I'm nit convinced either that the flight will go. All we can do is go to the airport and wait. I hope the airport has wifi...not likely.

We had a great day yesterday (Wednesday), so much so that I was too exhausted to update the blog. We went on a round island tour with our guides Joel and Tina, and driver Maui. Woke up at 3am to a massive storm outside. Wind and rain, like we rarely see at home. Couldn't get back to sleep for ages, think I listened to it until about 4.30. The Melanesian feast was ... Interesting. Not exactly sure what I ate, and not sure if I want to know. Shiann didn't eat a thing! What a waste of a day! We cancelled our tour because of the supposed cyclone and it hasn't rained since breakfast time. The tropical low is going to go south of Efate. We spent the day in Vila shopping for souvenirs, and found some really nice mementos. We started the day posting the darn postcards we bought and wrote so long ago! You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find an international stamp here, and after our Bali postcards having still not arrived 2 years...
