So after stepping of a night bus in Trujillo we weren't quite sure where we were. Thinking that it wasn't too far to the centre we decided to walk it. Bad idea for anyone else in the area, it was much further than it looked on the map and by the time we made it to plaza de armas we were tired and sweaty.
