We're out of quarantine and now staying at the university in beijing. now sharing room with Helen and 2 other people from other hotel. Flat is basic but comfortable, and its not as if we spend that much time in here anyway. Great Wall!!! - its rather great. Was a really early start, but meant we were there before it was 2 hot, which was a fantastic idea. We had 2 and a half hours on wall. chose not to follow the crowd and go the less busy route when we arrived....

So lessons have all now offically started. I get lessons in Mandarin, English pronouciation,spelling,grammer and classroom management. Its really bad that all the scandinavians and austrians in our class have a better understanding of these concepts than the native english speakers, since I didn't learn half this stuff at school. I'm a failure!!!! twice - two times - my temperature was 2 high so got sent 2 my room for complete isolation, with adele and oley, so not really alone. don't think they've figure out what isolation means lol. This was in the morning, absolutely nothing wrong though, so don't worry. Started classes today as well, really good fun and teachers are really nice, was great 2 actually be doing somthing rather than just sitting around. Filled the morning rather suffice...

ni hao, so have finally arrived in China, after my uneventful flights I sail through the heat inspections with absolutely no problems, because I don't have swine flu!!!! I'm stuck at the moment in a hotel in the 4th ring road in Beijing, we are not allowed 2 leave the grounds of the hotel - anyone caught leaving will be transported 2 airport, and asked 2 leave the country.
