Are we there yet? It's a long way from Australia to here..........to anywhere in fact (apart from New Zealand maybe)........
However we always viewed the journey as part of our trip. All 36 hours of it from door to door.
At the stop over in Kuala Lumpur (in the terminal) there was a Jungle Walk - a feature in the centre of the terminal which was 'outside'. We could tell it was outside as it was very humid when you walked through.
Forgot to mention that the pilot on the KL -Amsterdam leg confirmed that we would be taking a slightly longer way around Afghanistan airspace. I think everyone was pretty much OK with that!
We transited through Amsterdam which seems to be a huge airline hub and even managed a shower there.
And then it was destination Budapest.

Robyn Exciting that you are there. We have only managed to get back from Melbourne. KL and Amsterdam sound more exciting than the Hume Hwy.

Ilus Fantastic experience!! And what about the outside space in KL! And don't you love those large hubs where you can get a shower, nothing better on a huge flight like yours!
