Happy new year! The last day of 2010 was great, sun was out so we spent all day lying by the pool. Last night the hotel had a party with a "salsa" band, which was all very amusing, sounded more bomtempi to us!! We treated outselves to a bottle of wine (instead of just beer) which was truly awful and saw in the new year with a glass of asti, cant remember the last time i did that (if ever!)! Can not get over how much whisky they drink here!
The first day of 2011 has not gone so well though unfortunately. I appear to have developed the cold that everyone had before we left and we have had pretty much torrential rain all day. I have not left the room much, feel sorry for G though. Here's hoping the sun is out tomorrow and i feel better as we travel again tomorrow night. Thankyou for all your happy new year messages, which were warmly received as we miss you
