Hi my darlings,
sorry. only now been able to catch up on the blog. Am incredibly jealous of your adventures but glad to hear you are having a good time. All ticking along nicely back in "Sweet Valley" (that's what I've named our road by the way - don't worry, its a grower!). Becky, your handover notes have done you proud. I have now tried every bus and train route and I love them all (especially the 315 to Balham - back of the net!). We had a little "visitor" on the 2nd Jan (I had been at Emma's in Swanley and came back to a little friend under the sink). I was very brave and dealt with it all by myself (although I had to phone my mum for support!) and am pleased to inform that all appears to be back on track again! The plants, guinnea pigs and hippos are all well and missing you lots. As am I. Big love and hugs from Sweet Valley, St. Reatham's xx p.s. Loving Perfect Blend by the way. Had a nice glass of vino there last week. Big sis Laura is coming to stay on Thursday as my first house guest. Going to check out that little cocktail bar across the road (rude not to etc etc)

Hi Beccles & Gordon
Am back at work today and jealously reading your blog to see how your travels are going. Sounds like it has been challenging but great so far. I can't say I feel bad that it is raining - it is still chuffing freezing here, so I have no sympathy for you whatsoever - ha ha! I am sure it will pick up and you will have lots of lovely weather over the next few months, and will come back with gorgeous tans and be all laid back and stuff, just as we pasty b*****s are coming out of what it likely to be the coldest Winter for 60 years!
Anyway - not much to report from Blighty. Biff's wedding was great on NY Eve, but I ended up in bed at 11.30 after being sick! Rach and Zoe came round yesterday to see the new house and we had a nice afternoon catching up - the house got it's first kid's test as they were all playing hide and seek, and luckily it passed with no damage.
As mentioned, am back at work today - but then I am off for a detox week at a health spa next week, so hopefully that will help undo the damage that has been caused by 2 weeks of excessive eating and drinking.
Anyway loves - keep up the blogs as I look forward to hearing how you get on. Take care of yourselves and try not to get kidnapped!
Lots of love and kisses from across the pond.
Love Juicer
