Day 86 -Brisbane - Tuesday 10th January 2012

We woke up in a lovely comfy bed with air con! We were staying in a gorgeous 2 bed apartment with Nikki and Danny in the Fortitude Valley area. Our plan was to get out and explore Brisbane and the surrounds in the day and in the evening kick back with a glass of something nice and home cooked dinners. We even had an oven - the excitement was overwhelming (none of the hostels ever have an oven)!!

So after a lie in and a leisurely morning we headed into town to get our food shop for the next few days, and then strolled around Brisbane. Once we got to the main shopping area we found a visitor centre and booked our tickets for Australia zoo tickets for the next day too - quite a productive day!

Come late afternoon we walked back to the apartment and opened a can of XXXX whilst Danny cooked up his signature dish of chicken parmigiana. Perfect end to the day - chilling on the balcony of our apartment with a yummy dinner, ahhhhh.
